Anger at the two-week takeover of the seaside town

Burnham-upon-Bernum residents were angry after a group of travelers set up camp on a seaside lawn, causing disruption since July 13. Locals reported dumping of garbage, damaged cars and fighters, while traders were concerned about the impact of peak summer season. Congressman Ashley Fox blew up the “unacceptable” 12-day delay in the opening of the deportation process, accusing it of “as few as possible”. The committee said the legal timeline was not in their hands and a court hearing was scheduled for July 25. About 15 cars remain at two locations, with some expected to leave on Saturday.
