Apple’s self-service repair program is now expanding to iPad

Apple is now increasingly comprehensive, including iPad. Starting tomorrow, Apple Slate’s various owners can easily get official parts, repair manuals and tools so that if they feel confident enough, they can try their own repairs.

Apple Diagnostics troubleshooting sessions are also available. The web-based tool in the United States in 2023 is able to directly test many common problems affecting display, software, audio, camera technology, and facial ID, and provide a step-by-step repair process for diagnosing problems. Previously, these diagnostic tests could only be performed by authorized Apple service providers.

Currently, supported iPad models are iPad Air (M2 and beyond), iPad Pro (M4), iPad mini (A17 Pro), and entry-level iPad (A16). Apple said it will include components including display, battery, camera and external charging ports for repairs for insufficient products.

Since then, the self-service repair program debuted in 2022 has been gradually strengthening its scope into the product line. The service already offers many iPhone and model parts, so the iPad is a reasonable next step.

In addition to its recognition of Apple, Apple has recently launched it, essentially allowing repair business and professionals to have an existing service relationship with Apple, where parts and components can be ordered through third-party distributors such as MobilesEntrix.
