Arthur Fils exits the U.S. Open – Tennis Now

New York-Arthur Fils Not in the public main draw in the United States.
The 21-year-old Frenchman suffered a stress fracture in Roland Garros’ back, which lifted him out of his grass season. FILS announced on Instagram his “warning sign” to make his comeback at the Canadian Open prompting him to evacuate publicly.
“The warning sign when I made a comeback after the injury kept me out of the court – first in Toronto and then in Cincinnati – made me make a difficult but reasonable decision to withdraw from the public decision in the United States,” Pheles said in a statement. Instagram Stories. “This decision is to allow for a full recovery. I’m working hard with the team every day to prepare for the end of the season.”
Philes made a brief comeback in Toronto, defeating Pablo Carreno Busta in the opener before bowing in the second round to Jiri Lehecka. FILS and Toronto singles champion Ben Shelton made it to the doubles quarterfinals before admitting to walking.
