Novak Djokovic to headline Adelaide International next month – Tennis Now

Novak Djokovic Will start his 2026 season in Adelaide.
The tournament announced today that Grand Slam king Djokovic will headline the Adelaide International from January 12 to 17.
Former world No. 1 Djokovic headlines men’s event Tommy Paul, Jack Draper, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Jiri Lehka and João Fonseca.
Djokovic, who has reached the semi-finals of all four Grand Slam tournaments in 2025, is preparing for the Australian Open against Adelaide, where he will win a record 25th Grand Slam title.
“The 2026 Adelaide International will demonstrate the event’s continued growth and prestige on the global tennis calendar as it attracts world-class players from the WTA and ATP Tours.” Adelaide Tournament Director Alicia Molik explain.
“With Grand Slam champions, Olympic medalists and breakout stars confirmed, the Adelaide International has become a must-play event for players ahead of the Australian Open.”
On the women’s side, there are four top 10 players – the reigning Australian Open champion Madison Keys, 2024 U.S. Open finalist Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva and Ekaterina Alexandrova—Leading a field comprised of former gold medal champions Belinda Bencic, Clara Towson, Emma Navarro and Paola Badosa.
Top seed Djokovic defeated Sebastian Korda 6-7(8), 7-6(3), 6-4 to win the 2023 Adelaide 1 Championship. Felix Auger-Aliassime beat Korda to win the Adelaide title last January.
