Aryna Sabalenka She will need more time before she starts the North American hard-court season. The American announced that she would skip Montreal’s National Bank on the grounds of fatigue.

She joins Paula Badosa [injury] Off the field, this means Caty McNally and Moyuka Uchijima will enter the main draw.

“I look forward to the swing of the North American hard lineup, but to give myself the best chance to succeed this season, I think it’s in my best interest to skip Montreal,” a statement from Sabalenka Reads said.

No. 1 Sabalenka recently lost to Amanda Anisimova in the Wimbledon semifinals, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. The three-time Grand Slam champions have won 47-9 in three of the season’s titles, but Tot hasn’t won the professional yet.

The National Bank Open will be held in the 12-day tournament from July 25 to August 6 this year, with the main draws starting on the 27th.
