Save iPad, MacBook, AirPods, etc.

It's clear that Apple products are one of the most popular products in the tech world – meaning that sales are less than other gadgets, and sales are farther and when discounts arrive, they are usually the first to sell out. But, assuming you are destined to always pay full price for things like iPad and Apple Watch, that would be a mistake. If you know where to look, Apple will exist.
Engadget tracks such transactions regularly, so we can help you. Below, we've collected the best Apple deals you can now get on projects like AirPods, MacBooks, iPad and more. Arguably, the biggest warning about Apple sales is that you almost never see discounts directly on Apple.com. Unless you do a refurbishment, you will always pay the highest dollar directly on Apple, and for some things (like the iPhone), this is probably the best. But if you are willing to shop at retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc., you will find more discounts.

The iPad mini sounds a lot like: a smaller iPad. This latest iteration features an improved A17 Pro chip that is enough to support Apple Intelligence, as well as 128GB of storage and Apple Pencile Pro Pro support in the base model. As before, if you value a smaller 8.3-inch display and want a tablet, you can buy it, which you can hold with one hand more easily. We gave 83 points in the comments. It can also be in the target.

Apple iPad (A16) costs $299 (14% off): The previous generation update is relatively small, but the new model has a faster A16 chip, 2GB of RAM and 128GB of storage standards. It scored 84 in our reviews – if you just need an iPad to roam the internet, watch shows and perform some easier productivity tasks, it's a great starter tablet.
Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M3) for $529 ($70 off): The new iPad Air was released the same day as the iPad (A16), and is a similar minor update; the only big addition is the more powerful M3 chip. However, we still recommend using the air on the basic model in the iPad purchase guide: It has a richer display and is better resistant to glare, its speakers are more robust, it works with Apple's best accessories, and should perform better in the coming years.
Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M3) costs $729 ($70 off): We gave the 13-inch iPad Air a comment score of 89 when it was released in March. Its display is bigger and brighter than its 11-inch dubbing. Otherwise, the two slates are the same. If you plan to connect your iPad to your keyboard, the extra screen space is great for filming and multitasking.
Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) costs $899 ($100 off): The iPad Pro is more important than the tablet most people need, but it's The final Apple slate is for those who can tolerate its price tag. It's very thin, its OLED display is one of the best monitors we've seen on consumer devices, and its M4 chip can handle almost anything you've ever done on your iPad. It's also the only Apple tablet with a facial ID, and in addition, it has a better speaker setup than the iPad Air. We gave 84 points in the comments, and the only real downside is that everything is expensive.
Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) costs $1,099 ($200 off): The 13-inch iPad Pro has the same specifications as the 11-inch model, except that it is bigger and more expensive. If you plan to multitask regularly, or just want more screen space to enjoy the movie, it may be worth the extra cost. This is the biggest discount we see for the M4 model. It can also be in the target.

This variant of AirPods 4 adds ANC, a wireless charging case, and finds my tracking support. They maintain the same open design, so the ANC is not as effective as a pair that completely seals the ear canal, but it makes the earplugs more useful in noisy areas. We gave the pair 86 in the comments. It can also be purchased at Walmart.
$149 for Amazon
Apple Airpods 4 costs $119 ($10% off): Apple's wireless earbuds aren't the richest or longest durable pairs out there, and this entry-level model lacks wireless charging to find my tracking and onboard volume controls. However, it still brings you a lot of Apple-friendly features—from quick pairing with iCloud devices to spatial audio to hands-free siri—its lightweight design should fit most ears better than the Airpods of the past. If you really hate the feeling of headphones that stick into the ear canal, they also sound cleaner and more balanced than most open alternatives. Remember, this design doesn't block too much external noise.
Apple Airpods Pro 2 costs $188 (24% off): The AirPods Pro 2 remains Apple's best wireless earbud set as they offer a full suite of Apple-centric features, powerful ANC, onboard volume control, a comfortable in-ear design, and a warm sound profile that most people should enjoy. They can even work as hearing aids, although their six-hour battery life isn't the best, you should only get them if you're fully using Apple hardware. But if so, we think they are the best wireless earbuds for iPhone owners.
Best MacBook deals and Mac discounts
Devindra Hardawar for Engadget
Apple's latest MacBook Air is the top pick in our guide to the best laptops, earning 92 points in our review. Overall, this isn't a major refresh, but it's not a bad thing – the design is still very thin, lightweight and well-built, with a long battery life and a top-notch keyboard and trackpad. Now it's a little faster. (Although we still like more ports and refresh rates above 60Hz.) Also available on B&H.
$849 on Amazon
Apple Mac Mini (M4) for $529 ($70 off): The latest version of Apple Tiny Desktop PC has a smaller overall footprint, a faster M4 chip, 16GB of RAM standard standard (last), two front-facing USB-C ports (last!), an additional Thunderbolt 4 port, and the ability to drive three external displays. However, it does lack a USB-A port. We gave the M4 Pro model a review score of 90 earlier this year.
Apple MacBook Air 15-inch (M4) costs $1,049 ($150 off): The 15-inch MacBook Air is almost the same as the smaller version, but has more powerful speakers and a more spacious trackpad and a more spacious display. This is another record low for the base model, and if you need more power, other configurations will be discounted the same. Also available on B&H.

We think Apple's flagship wearables are the best smartwatch you can buy. This is a major iterative update with faster charging, a slightly smaller design and slightly larger display than the previous Series 9. That said, it remains a comprehensive fitness tracker, and no other smartwatch can be integrated with iPhone and other Apple devices. If you're upgrading from a series of 7 or 7 years or older, remember that patent disputes lock it in the blood oxygen detection feature on those older models, which should be a welcome upgrade.

Apple Watch SE priced at $189 ($60): Those on a tight budget can choose the Apple Watch SE and know they will gain experience with core Apple wearables, with few compromises. We think it is the best smartwatch for beginners.
The best Apple accessories deal
Apple Pencil Pro costs $99 ($30 off): The highest-end options in Apple's confusing stylus lineup, pencil professionals support pressure sensitivity, wireless charging, tilt detection, haptic feedback, and support for Apple's double-click and squeeze gestures, among other perks. It's a lovely tool for more complex sketches and notes, but grabbing is that it's only compatible with the M4 iPad Pro, M2 and M3 iPad Air and more recently the iPad Mini. It can also be purchased at Walmart.
Apple Pencil USB-C costs $69 ($10% off): This more affordable Apple Pencil doesn't support pressure sensitivity, but overall offers a great stylus. If you are a casual note-taking and can handle the connected charging, you can save a few dollars by choosing this fee. It can also be purchased at Walmart.
