The Switch 2 Pro Controller is Nintendo’s best controller ever – here’s what to say. It’s very comfortable to hold, its joystick is very smooth, and all its buttons are very responsive. Nintendo even customizes through the rear buttons that can be easily mapped into any game.
The only drawback? The Switch 2 Pro Controller costs $85, which seems a bit shocking when you can get a great controller like the 8Bitdo’s Ultimate 2 Wireless GamePad for $60. But while competition is good, you can’t find anything that can be easily configured directly from the Switch 2’s user interface.
Despite the high cost, the Switch 2 Pro controller seriously improves my Mario Karting World experience. My hands usually feel cramped when I play the game with the Joy-Con 2 controller of the Switch 2. But the Switch 2 Pro controller doesn’t have these. I was able to play an hour without any discomfort, and I also noticed that I could do the tricky jumping operations and rail sliding of the game more easily.
The Switch 2 Pro controller is also very helpful for fighting games due to its smooth and accurate orientation pad. While it’s nice to see that the simulated trigger can be controlled more accurately in serious racing games, it’s easy to be acquittal for most genres. – Senior Reporter Devindra Hardawar
