Biden reveals he is not surprised that Harris is lost, blaming sexism and racism

Former President Joe Biden said former Vice President Kamala Harris lost to President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, which blamed the losses on gender discrimination and racism.
Co-host Sara Haines asked the president if he was surprised, Harris lost to Trump in November, and Democrats were optimistic about Democrats after Biden decided to withdraw from the game.
“I'm not surprised, not because I don't think the vice president is the most qualified person for the president. She is. She is qualified to be the president of the United States of America. I'm surprised. I'm surprised because they took a route, a gender-based route, the whole route. I mean, this is a woman, this is a woman, she is a person, I mean, I mean, I mean, that's inconsistent. Mixed-blooded women,” Biden replied.

“Anyway, to do a short story, everyone is joking, think about it. Liberal democracies lost the whole of America last time. I think we underestimated the phenomenon that Covid had, the attitude toward people, the attitude toward the whole thing, the attitude toward the whole range, and I was very disappointed, but I was surprised that they were surprised by them. Biden continued.
He endorsed Harris as the vote after Biden left the game on July 21, about a month after a disastrous debate performance against Trump.
Biden was asked if he recently talked to Harris about her next step. The former president said Harris is already seeking comments next, but will not disclose what it is.

Biden sat down with the “view” and the president sat after an interview with the BBC, talking about Trump’s foreign policy and his decision to leave the game.
The former president told the BBC it wouldn't be “significant” if he quit the game earlier.
“When we had a good candidate, we left,” Biden said of Harris.
“It’s a tough decision,” Biden told the media, who decided to quit the game. “I think it was the right decision. It was just a difficult decision.”

Biden believes his tenure is so successful that it is difficult to hand over leadership to the new generation immediately, just as he initially expected.
“What we were going to do, no one thought of,” he said. “I’m becoming so successful on our agenda, it’s hard to say, ‘I’m going to stop now.’ I mean what I started saying is that I’m going to give it to the next generation, and it’s so much a transition from government that it’s hard to get away.”
