Israel – Iran conflict intensifies – State

The United States said that Israel and Iran continued to strike again less than two days after the U.S. attacked Iran nuclear sites, and therefore issued a “global warning security alert.”

In a security alert issued later Sunday, the State Department said it advises U.S. citizens around the world to “action with caution.”

“The conflict between Israel and Iran has led to disruptions of travel and periodic closures throughout the Middle East,” the alarm said. “There is a possibility of protests against U.S. citizens and foreign interests.”

The alert advises U.S. citizens to consult their travel advisory, country information, and if they plan to travel, please consult their latest security alerts.
