Canucks announcer continues broadcasting after being hit by the chairman in weird moments

Abbotsford Canucks won the decisive game in the second round of the American Hockey League’s Calder Cup playoff series.

Before the Ganak celebrated a 5-0 victory and won a spot in the Western Conference Finals, a noisy fan had a heated exchange with the team’s Brandon Astle during the game live.

The Canucks are a minor league branch of the Vancouver Canucks, while the Hawks are a development branch of the NHL Colorado Avalanche.

Abbotsford led 2-0 in the semifinals, when the noticeable noise seemed to briefly distract people. The broadcaster revealed that the noise was the result of fans throwing chairs, which eventually put him in trouble.

After the game, Astle landed on his social media platform to apologize for handling the situation.

He wrote on X: “I could have handled this better, but you can see that the shock and fired because it never happened to me…I know a Yahoo didn’t reflect the Eagles organization or their fans, obviously being found and kicked out.”

The Canucks will meet with the Texas star in the final. The winner will advance to the Calder Cup final. The first game of the series begins on May 29.
