For unproven cases, the annual exchange takes place a special, usually one-hour meeting to allow market participants to celebrate the beginning of the new year in accordance with an Indian calendar called the “Samvat” calendar.
The session is organized according to a special time arrangement known in the Indian tradition as “Mulherat” and is a symbolic and auspicious beginning of the beginning of the moon year – Samwat calendar is conducted on a monthly table.
