Today, the gem of Midwestern tennis announced some details of its groundbreaking 2025 event, the first time it will be held in a two-week format.

Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek won singles titles in Cincy this year.

Below are some excerpts from the email sent by the tournament on December 3rd.

In 2025, the Cincinnati Open’s global broadcast viewership increased by 55.7%, with global viewers reaching 89.9 million. In total, viewers watched 26,455 hours of linear and streaming coverage. Nearly three-quarters of the audience came from outside North America, with Europe having the largest audience at 37.9 million. Tennis Channel USA’s coverage attracted a cumulative linear television audience of 16.8 million.

Cincinnati Open social media content generated 401.3 million views and 27.6 million interactions across all accounts and platforms. One piece of content, a Fan Cam video featuring ATP and WTA stars surprising fans, has been viewed nearly 7 million times. The video, produced by the Championship and ATP Media, was recently named Best Original Content by the rights holder at the recent Broadcast Sports Awards.

This year’s Cincinnati Open attracted a record 285,571 spectators, with ticket buyers coming from all 50 states and 65 countries.

Attracting 338 of the world’s top tennis players from 48 countries, the event has global appeal.

“The year-over-year growth in attendance justifies efforts to expand the event to host the world’s best players over more days,” said event director Bob Moran. “The global nature of tennis is unique and a huge selling point for our event. We are honored to welcome the world to the Cincinnati Open and recognize the valuable opportunities we have to work with partners who want to reach such a broad and diverse audience.”

Last month, the Cincinnati Open was named the ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the year after completing a $260 million campus renovation in partnership with Mason City, Warren County and the State of Ohio. The project doubled the size of the venue and increased the championship’s singles field to 96 players. This marks the first time the event has received global recognition.

Next year’s Cincinnati Open will be held August 11-23 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
