Colombian soldiers were killed, injured, and attacked by explosives

Bogota, Colombia (AP) – Colombian soldiers were killed and two other injured bombs were bombed by a sub-explosion explosives that exploded in rural northeastern Colombia.

Antiagia State Assemblyman Andrés Julián Rendón confirmed the soldiers’ death and blamed the National Liberation Army (ELN), a group of about 6,000 combatants, who are still fighting the Colombian government.

Rensan said the target soldier of “an armed explosive” patrols near Valdivia.

The army later confirmed that the animal was a kind of a child and condemned the “cruel and terrifying use of terrorism against animals.”

Explosives delivered by cars and motorcycles are more common in Colombia. The Army said the last record of the animals used was in 2013, when a dog was equipped with explosives. Horses and donkeys have been used in the past.

President Gustavo Petro has had a conversation with the ELN and other armed groups, with the goal of what he calls “complete peace,” but has held a suspended talk with the ELN after the group launched an offensive from a rival near the Venezuelan border, killing more than 90 people.
