CNN host Dana Bash refused to read a derogatory quote to her network when citing President Donald Trump’s truth-seeking social post on Tuesday.
Trump’s Truth Society Post says: “It’s very important for all Republicans to stick to my memories [sic] Bill, in particular, grants to public broadcasters (PBS and NPR), which is more than the CNN & MSDNC rollout. Any Republican who votes for this monster to continue broadcasting will not get my support or approval. ”
Bash read the whole thing aloud on “internal politics,” except for “a phrase that is much more combined than CNN & MSDNC.” Instead, she said, “I won’t even read that.”

Bash’s comments are posted in the U.S. Senate will vote on President Donald Trump’s $9 billion withdrawal plan, which is set to cut more than $1 billion in public broadcasters (CPB), which is government-backed funding for NPR and PBS.
Trump threatened to collect federal funds from NPR and PBS, and signed an executive order in May to cut taxpayer funds.
The president also repeatedly attacked CNN and said in February: “No one will look at CNN because they have no credibility.”
Earlier this month, Trump revealed that he and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem were working on ways to prosecute CNN in order to report on an app that allows users to track Icefield agents. He added that the network could face prosecution for “there are false reports of attacks on Iran” because it claims our strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities did not destroy the country’s nuclear program.

Bash has also postponed Trump in her performances in the past, with some comments he targeting CNN.
Speaking about the fall of border numbers, Trump said in April: “Okay, they went out, but fake news like CNN doesn’t want to drive them out because they don’t like to put out good numbers… because I think they actually hate our country.”
“I just want to rap because we heard President Trump say in the Oval Office that CNN hates our country. CNN doesn’t hate our country. It should be unnecessary. I’ve been here for 32 years and I saw a rhetorical method in him, and he tried to say it,” Bash said. ”
