If you sent something regrets in your Google Messages RCS group chat, it seems like you can quickly delete it for everyone and not just yourself. On Thursday, a Reddit user posted (by 9to5google) Screenshot of this option in the messaging app for Android.
The image from u/seeareeff shows a pop-up menu asking if they want to “delete for everyone” or “delete for me”. The latter has been the only option to remove the application so far.
Everyone's deletion is consistent with RCS's Universal Profile v2.7. GSMA finally confirmed the update in June 2024, but enabling RCS applications like Google will take time to implement it.
