Delhi National Legal Service Delhi Traffic Police Department, Delhi Traffic Challenge National Lok Adalat 2025

National Lok Adalat: The Delhi State Legal Services Agency (DSLSA) will organize the National Lok Adalat on September 13, 2025 to peacefully resolve all types of civil and criminal compound cases, including those of challengers. The DSLSA, coordinated with the Delhi Traffic Police, will hold Lok Adalat between several court complexes in Delhi between 10am and 4pm.

Lok Adalat aims to reduce the burden on justice and promote rapid problem resolution. Depending on the nature of the case, the mitigation allowance for pending traffic challenges in Lok Adalat is usually generous enough to potentially waive 75%.

Where will Lok Adalat be held?

Lok Adalat will be held in seven court complexes in Delhi:

How to participate?

To participate, the driver must register online and ensure a token and date letter, but will not hear these letters on the resolution day.

1) Visit the official website of Delhi Traffic Police

2) Click the “Deri State Legal Services Agency” option.

3) Enter your details and pending Challan information.

4) Submit the form.

5) You will then receive a download link for your Lok Adalat token.

What type of situation will you hear?

Lok Adalat’s hearing will cover minors and more complex offenses such as driving without helmets, not wearing seat belts or lack of valid contamination certificates, while serious violations such as drunk driving, crashes or fatal accidents are still ineligible.

Lok Adalat or People’s Court is a voluntary, alternative dispute resolution body in India that provides the parties with a fast, cost-effective and informal way to resolve disputes through mediation and compromise. It was established under the Legal Service Authority Act of 1987.

Lok Adalat is held annually to relieve the burden on the courts and resolve cases friendly. This provides Delhi drivers with the opportunity to clean up the yet-to-be-challenged dues at a lower cost. The next Lok Adalat is scheduled to take place on December 13, 2025.
