The drastic change in Delhi weather occurred after a few days of ruthless heat, with temperatures violating 40 degrees Celsius. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), cloud cover swept North Delhi and moved southeast, causing strong gusts and showers. The wind speed reaches 70 kmph, bringing some breathing opportunities from the heat, but it can seriously affect air travel.
