Novak Djokovic Picking up the mound at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx last night and abandoned the first game of the ceremony before the Yankees played against the Red Sox.
“Thanks to tennis legend Novak Djokovic for throwing away the first game of the ceremony tonight!” Yankees posted on social media.
Before the court, Djokovic met Slugger with the Yankees Judge Aaron And give Captain Yankees a signature head pat. A judge who has played in the U.S. Open in the past provided Djokovic with one of his baseball bats.
The Bronx Bombers can use some of Djokovic’s offensive skills as they get into the terrible rival Red Sox.
So, how did the former world’s number one tennis skill be transformed into mounds?
Well, Djokovic wore his sleeves on his right arm and did a great job in his delivery despite bounced on his court.
