Doge is reportedly pushing for AI tools that will put half of all federal regulations on a “delete list”

According to Washington PostDoge is using AI tools to analyze federal regulations and determine which regulations to get rid of. The Doge PowerPoint demonstration obtained by the publication states that its “AI solution,” reportedly known as the Doge AI deregulation decision-making tool, found that over 200,000 regulations could be removed. The document sets a target deadline for September 1 so agents can use the tool to complete their own deregulation list and says it can be done within four weeks, then “Doge will list a 50% removal list of all federal regulations (100K regulatory rules).
