Dolly Parton Not working on new music when her sad husband dies Carl Dean.

She added: “I will do it later. I just came up with such a wonderful idea, but I don’t think I’m going to finish it. I can’t do it now because I have a lot of other things. ”
She explained: “I can’t afford the emotional luxury I’m now. Sometimes, times like this will put you in trouble. But if it comes, I’ll write. … I just put it all on the shelves.”
Dean died in March at the age of 82. Parton announced the news via Instagram, writing: “Carl and I have spent many years together. Words cannot share with us for more than 60 years of love. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”

“It’s a big tweak, just trying to change patterns and habits,” Parton added at the time. “I’ll do a great job, I’m very involved in my work, and it’s the best thing that I could possibly have happened. Of course, I always miss him and love him forever. He’s my great companion.”
She said she felt “thank you” for all the love she received from her fans.
“I got a lot of cards, letters, flowers from all over the world,” she revealed. “I didn’t know Carl Dean was so famous.”
