According to Palestinian medical sources, Israeli air strikes killed dozens of people in central Gaza.
Medical staff at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat said there were 30 bodies after the attack. They added that the victim’s condition made it difficult to prove identity.
At least eight people were reportedly members of the same family. Witnesses reported multiple Israeli strikes on residential buildings north of Nuseirat.
This information cannot be verified independently, and the Israeli military has so far not commented on the report.
The attack came days after the Israeli military, amid growing international criticism of the horrific humanitarian situation in troubled Gaza, saying a 10-hour daily humanitarian moratorium will be observed in parts of the region where its troops are not functioning.
These include Al-Mawasi in the southwest, Deir Al-Balah in the center and Gaza city in the north.
