Draper hires Murray’s former boss Jamie Delgado to lead the coaching team – Tennis Now

While Jack Draper has missed the game due to a left arm injury (he won’t come back until next year but will be in the UTS Finals in December), he has also been doing some bargaining activities. The London Times’ Stewart Fraser reported that the top British player has hired Andy Murray and former coach Jamie Delgado, Grigor Dimitrov, to lead his team.

According to Fraser, James Trotman will stay with the team, but will reduce business trips.

Therefore, the transformation of Draper’s team continues to imitate Murray’s team. He has appointed Matt Little as fitness coach and Shane Annun as physiotherapist, who have all worked with Murray and Delgado in the past.

Draper is currently ranked 8th and has reached a career-high fourth place after winning the Masters title for the first time in Indian Wells this year. He has only played one game since Wimbledon.

His total score this year is 30 wins and 9 losses.

“Unfortunately, I had an arm injury and I had to rest, which means I will miss the rest of 2025,” Draper wrote on social media after the U.S. Open. “It’s hard for me to accept because this year I’m building some incredible momentum and playing something great.”
