A number of top stars from the ATP Tour and Hologic WTA Tour will compete in the 2026 Fed Cup events in Perth and Sydney, Australia.
The U.S. team, led by world No. 3 Coco Gauff and No. 6 Taylor Fritz, will defend their title in the 2025 mixed team event. Germany, the 2024 champions, features world No. 3 Alexander Zverev and debutant Eva Lis.
Other competitors include Poland’s Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz, Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari, Italy’s Jasmine Paolini and Flavio Cobolli, Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime and Victoria Mboko, Great Britain’s Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper, Naomi Osaka (Japan), Alex de Minaur (Australia) and Casper Ruud (Norway).
When will the Confederations Cup be held?
The 2026 Confederations Cup will be held from January 2 to 11. The outdoor hard-court event, established in 2023, will be held at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Center within the Perth RAC Arena and Ken Rosewall Arena. Tournament Director is Stephen Farrow.
What is the format of the Confederations Cup?
Eighteen countries are divided into six groups of three. The group stage will be a round-robin format, with each country playing against the other two countries in the group. Each match will include an ATP singles match, a WTA singles match and a mixed doubles match. The top team in each group will advance to the quarter-finals, with the best runners-up national teams from Perth and Sydney also earning a quarter-final spot.

What is the Confederations Cup schedule?
The fourth edition of the Federation Cup will be held in Perth (from January 2, 2026) and Sydney (from January 3). The host cities will compete in the group stage and quarter-finals respectively, with four countries advancing to the semi-finals (January 10, 2026) and the final in Sydney (January 11).

How much is the prize money for the Manchester United Cup?
The total prize money and participation fees for the 2026 Fed Cup will be at least US$11,806,190, of which ATP and WTA players will each receive at least US$5,903,345. The total prize money is divided into three parts: entry fee, number of wins per team and bonus.

Who won the last Confederations Cup in 2025?
The United States defeated Poland in the championship game in Sydney to claim the third Fed Cup title in 2025 (learn more). Fritz, Goff, Denis Kudela, Danielle Collins, Robert Galloway and Desire Krawczyk represented Team USA throughout the event.
