Fitbit Versa 4 Comments: Why This Is My Favorite Fitbit

Over the years, I’ve tested my smartwatches, from Garmin to Fitbit, and even tested some unnamed budget options that weren’t committed to the world and delivered. They vary in performance, design and the types of target users.

Over the years, I’ve tried several Fitbits, including Versa 3 and Charge 3, but I’ve been back in Fitbit Versa 4. This is the model I recommend for anything that needs functional functionality, but it is also simple and affordable.

So, what makes it the best Fitbit (in my opinion)?

Why did I choose fitbit 4

First, the Versa 4 looks and feels great on the wrist. It’s light and slim, which is very important for the watch you wear every day. The silicone belt is soft and breathable, and has a stylish design that almost mimics the Apple Watch. Controls can be found on the touch screen and command buttons, and the screen response rate is what you expect from your device. The same is true for the bright, AMOLED display.

When it comes to lifestyle, this is my first choice. Get text notifications, Instagram likes, and directly access your wrist. On Android phones, you can reply text directly from your watch using quick reply or voice commands. However, if you are using an iPhone, reply text is not supported – you can only view notifications and delete notifications. For this feature, you need to look for an Apple Watch.

When it comes to fitness features, Versa 4 covers all the basics and then some of the basics. You will get heart rate tracking, step counting, sleep tracking, SPO2 monitoring, stress tracking and built-in GPS. GPS isn’t the most accurate I’ve used, but it’s perfect for casual use if your goal is general fitness, rather than long-distance exercises tracked in detail. I found that battery life can last up to more than 10k runs. Speaking of battery life, it usually lasts five to six days, and if you skip your GPS workout, it lasts longer.

It is waterproof for swimming and can provide waterproof up to 50 meters. It can even track basic swimming metrics for duration and calorie burn.

Sleep tracking is one of the areas where Fitbit still does a good job. Versa 4 provides you with a sleep score every morning, as well as breakdown of the time spent in light, depth and REM sleep. It even gives you a “sleeping animal” based on your pattern. Regardless of the price, it’s very important to me on any smartwatch. So, the Versa 4 provides such in-depth tracking that I am impressed.

Mixable transactions

One of the only downsides to this Fitbit is the subscription fee required to unlock some more in-depth tracking features. Fitbit Premium Subscription Unlock A Stress management scores, personalized exercises, and more.
