Lleyton Hewitt and his 16-year-old son Cruz Hewitt will compete in an ATP Challenger Tour doubles match in Sydney on Thursday.
The father-son duo are scheduled to play in the quarterfinals against Calum Puttergill and Dane Sweeny before 5pm local time / 1am ET / 7am CST. On the 24th anniversary of Leyton’s first appearance at the top of the PIF ATP Rankings, Hewitt won his first match against Hayden Jones and Pavler Malenkov 6-1, 6-0.
