Organizers said a huge fire broke out on Wednesday at the music festival website tomorrow in Belgium and was severely damaged in the main stage two days before the event.
No one was injured in the incident. Images shared on local news websites and social media show flames and feathers that engulf the stage and spread to nearby woodlands.
The annual music festival in the town of Boom, north of Brussels, was scheduled to begin on Friday, attracting thousands of tourists from all over Europe.
The organizer posted on the event website: “Our beloved main stage was severely damaged due to a serious incident and tomorrow’s large stage.” “We can confirm that no one was injured during the incident. ”
The current focus is on “finding solutions” for holiday weekends, the statement said.
There is no cause of the fire.
