Pope Leo XIV's inauguration Massage attracted thousands of people, including Prime Minister Carney

Pope Leo Xiv officially opened his master on Sunday’s history, presided over the inaugural Mass at St. Peter’s Square, and then fused ancient rituals, evocative, evocative symbols in rituals held by thousands of people, presidents, patriarchs, patriarchs and princes, and paid tribute to modern celebrities.

Leo took part in his first pop car tour through Piazza, a synonym with the Pope’s global and medium level, used at home and abroad, a series of rituals that have become an intermediary for both family and foreign use.

The 69-year-old Augustine preacher smiled and waved from the back of the truck, but did not seem to stop kissing the baby. Security personnel were nervous as civil protection personnel in neon uniforms transported pilgrims into the quadrant on the square and down the boulevard up and down below.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance, one of the last foreign officials to meet Pope Francis before his death, paid tribute to the Argentine Pope's grave when he arrived in Rome late Saturday and led the U.S. delegation to honor the Chicago-born Leo.

After a public tour in the square, Leo enters the cathedral and prays in St. Peter's tomb, considered the first pope under the main altar of the cathedral, and then processed to the square for mass.

Strict seating plan

A strict diplomatic agreement determines seating arrangements, and both the United States and Peru have won front-row seats due to Leo's dual citizenship.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio joined the Catholic convert who was tangled with Francis in the Trump administration’s massive immigration deportation program, joining Marco Rubio, who arrived in Rome early in trying to advance the Russian-Ukrainian peace talks.

Peruvian President Dina Boluarte is about a dozen governors and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Russia is represented by the Minister of Culture Olga Liubimova.

Prime Minister Mark Carney left Canada Friday night for the first time to officially head for the Vatican. He joined the members of the Freedom Caucus in the mass group, who are practicing Catholics or representing large Catholic constituencies

The diplomatic agreement also sets out dress codes: While most people wear black, the Catholic queen and princess – Charlene of Monaco and Letezia of Spain are all wearing white in special privileges.

Prime Minister Mark Carney, U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are expected to attend the inauguration of Vatican city Pope Rio XIV on Sunday.

Delegation, loyal groups from all over the world

Thirty dozen of other Christian churches in the world have sent their own delegations, led by patriarchs, pastors, ministers and metropolitan cities, while the Jewish community has a delegation of 13 members, half of which are Rabis.

Ethan Menning, 21, of Omaha, Nebraska, wrapped herself in an American flag and bought it at a truck station in Iowa to celebrate.

He said: “Rome always felt like a Catholic home, but now coming here and seeing one of our own on Peter's throne… almost makes it easier for Jesus himself to reach.”

Kalen Hill, a pilgrim from the United States, arrived at St. Peter's shortly after opening Sunday morning on Dawn and said he never expected the Americans to lead the 1.4 billion powerful church.

“I want to say that all Americans are emotional about it,” he said. “It’s really powerful for American Catholics who sometimes separate from the World Church and incorporate it into the World Church through Pope Leo and include it in this community.”

During Mass, Leo will receive two valid symbols of the Pope: the Lamb stole, known as the pallium and the fisherman's ring. pally draped on his shoulders, symbolizing the priest who carried his flock with the papal's faithfulness. The ring became the official seal of Leo, and it returned to Jesus’ call to the apostle Peter to cast his fishing net.

Another symbolic moment of the masses is a representative ritual of obedience to Leo: Although all cardinals in the past vowed to obey the new pope, the recent papal installation involves representatives of cardinals, bishops, pastors, female priests, deacons, nuns, married couples and young people participating in this ceremony.

Another change in the past is that Sunday’s Mass was not a coronation, and once involved the pope who received a headdress, but was only called the masses to start the papal ministry as the bishop of Rome.

In the days since historical elections, Leo has outlined some of his key priorities as a pope. In his first foreign policy speech, he said that the three diplomatic pillars of the Holy See were peace, justice and truth.

In his first major economics speech, he emphasized the sociology of the Catholic Church and the search for truth. It is unclear whether he will use his installation as a mission statement like some of his exes.

After the masses are over, the final blessing will be received and then enter the cathedral to attend the meeting with more than 150 formal delegations. The safety is tight, just like Francis did at his April 26 funeral, which attracted an estimated 250,000 people. Roman authorities plan to have another 250,000 on Sunday.

The square and main boulevard lead to it, with two nearby squares and huge TV screens, and dozens of portable toilets are erected in the nearby park.

Gregory and Susan Hudak lived in the Chicago area for 40 years and found themselves in Rome after booking a trip in February, just a faint hope that might have a glimpse of the pope. Gary Hudak, a former altar boy wearing a Chicago Bear hat, said seeing a Chicago-born Leo saw a pop music pass in front of them, even better than watching Michael Jordan’s game.

“Initially, the only hope I had come here was to see the interior of Sistine Church,” he said. “I'm glad the meeting was over because I could see the interior of Sistine Church. It was a long hope to see that the pope had not arranged it. It was a treasure, it was simple.”
