A legacy of trust, a future of integrity: AMAES and PPCRV launch 2025 Election Command Center

Prior to the 2025 national election, the AMA Education System (AMAES) and the Parish Priests Committee (PPCRV) formally launched the PLDT Sampaloc’s PPCRV Command Center, strengthening a long-term partnership built on fixed, technical and civic responsibilities.
The command center, now located in its new location, will serve as a central hub for election surveillance, reporting and data verification. The launch comes earlier this year with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed between AMA University and PPCRV in Quezon City, where both institutions re-establish their commitment to promoting clean and honest elections through education and digital infrastructure.
At the heart of the event is the keynote speech by the Honorary Chairman of Amaes. Amable R. Aguiluz V, who highlights the ongoing role of the institution in national construction.
“Corporate social responsibility is not only a checkbox for the AMA education system, but the heartbeat of our institutions,” said Dr. Aguiluz. “Entrust the community through education and technology is our core mission, and it is through such meaningful engagement that brings this mission to life.”
amb. Aguiluz outlines the decades of Amaes' participation in the country's electoral process, dating back to the 1986 presidential election. Since then, the AMA has played a role in 14 national and local polls, including five automatic elections. In the upcoming 2025 election, Amaes once again provides IT support, computer equipment, audio-visual training materials, and volunteers from more than 200 campuses in the Philippines.
The launch also celebrates a lasting partnership between Amaes and PPCRV, which began with the country’s first automatic elections in 2010. But, in addition to institutional collaboration, it focuses on a personal bond that has long supported this common advocacy – Amaes Chairman Honor AMB. Founding Chairman of PPCRV, Aguiluz, former Philippine Ambassador to the Holy See, and “Tita” De Villa, Ambassador of the Philippines to the Holy See.
Ambassador De Villa, who was at the forefront of electoral reform and civic education, was warmly welcomed at the event. Her appearance is known for her strong Catholic faith and dedication to peaceful elections, which reminds the soul behind the PPCRV mission.
PPCRV officials, including President Evelyn Singson and trustee and spokesman Ana de Villa-Singson, also honored the occasion, highlighting the organization’s preparations for 2025 and their appreciation for Amaes’ continued support.
As part of the re-cooperation, voter education material, including Tibok Pinoy eBook, will be integrated into Amaes’ online learning platform and spread through its digital and social media channels. This effort is designed not only to shape voters, but also responsible and informed Filipino citizens.
The launch of the PPCRV command center not only marks logistics ready. It is a symbol of trust, commitment and shared purpose – an embodiment of values represented by both institutions. With technology and education at the forefront, and the legacy of civic participation behind it, Amaes and PPCRV have stepped up their efforts to help protect the integrity of the Philippines’ vote.
