Francisco Cabral and Lucas Miedler won their second title of the season on Tuesday at the Lynk & Co Hangzhou Open.
According to Infosys ATP Stats, the top seeds surpassed Nicolas Barrientos and David Pel 6-4, 6-4 in the championship game, during which they saved the only breakthrough point they faced. With their victory, Cabral and Miedler improved to 22-11 after their debut in Marrakech in April this year.
“Thank you for another week. We’ve been doing great things,” Cabral told his team. “I’m very, very happy with our second championship and will have some competitions until the end of the year, so we’d love to have the chance to play again in Tokyo next week.”
Cabral, by claiming his fourth tour title, in the Open Age, the Portuguese man tied most ATP travel trophys with most ATP travel trophys. Cabral and Miedler ranked third in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams rankings.

Fanatic/haase victory in Chengdu
Constantin Frantzen and Robin Haase won their first title at the Chengdu Open on Tuesday, winning the matches 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 at Vasil Kirkov and Bart Stevens.

The German duo is now 8-3 on the tour after making its team debut at GSTAAD in July. They saved two match scores in their first round clash with Rohan Bopanna and Takeru Yuzuki before winning the championship game in 78 minutes.
“Thanks Robin for playing with me, picking up the phone two weeks ago,” Frantzen told Hayes, who grabbed his first tour champion. “I’m glad I’ll call you. This is my first title and I’m glad to do it here in Chengdu.”
Haase, 38, is now the 10-time tag team champion on the ATP Tour, the second oldest Chengdu champion after Jonathan Erlich in 2017.
