Carnival Cruise Company Cancels Five Tours

The Carnival Cruise canceled five other cruises that originally appeared on Travelhost.

Carnival Cruise Line is adding to its growing cruise cancellation list due to changes in its schedule for daily dry dock maintenance and renovations every few years.

Earlier this year, cruise companies canceled their spring 2026 cruises due to a revised dry docking program, and more cruises are now being affected by other program adjustments.

These latest changes occurred when the cruise line was forced to cancel a Carnival Freedom Parade at the last minute, as a strike by shipyard workers in Spain delayed the completion of ship maintenance work.

Now, with the newly refreshed Carnival free sailing again, Carnival announced the cancellation of five scheduled cruises for early 2027 on another ship in early 2027.

Carnival Cruise Line cancels five cruises in Carnival breeze

Another change to the schedule of the Carnival Cruise Ship Drying Pier now leads to five cancelled cruise carnivals, a cruise from Galveston, Texas, the West Caribbean Sea year-round cruise.

Due to changes in the schedule, the five cancelled Carnival parades are scheduled to depart on January 11, 2027, March 5, 2027, March 13, 2027, March 18, March 18, 2027, and March 22, 2027.

“We regret to inform you that the above voyage (including yours) has been cancelled due to the above specific schedule of the carnival itinerary and the drying dock program (scheduled maintenance)” Cruise Line explained in an email.

Affected passengers who booked an alternative voyage will receive freight credit, which varies according to the length of the voyage.

Passengers who choose not to arrange will receive a full refund of their cruise tickets and any pre-order items.

Carnival passengers say cruising routes keep disappointing them

Although cruise companies have a lot of attention to these cancellations, passengers will naturally be disappointed that they have to modify their travel plans.

Some even said that cancellation was another mistake in a series of ways to drop passengers on the cruise route recently.

In June, Cruise Line announced a new Carnival Rewards Loyalty Program that will link status to spending when replacing the VIFP Club program in June 2026. Many passengers call the new plan “currency acquisition”, prioritizing profits over passenger loyalty.

Recently, passengers also objected to the cruise route to charge high-priced add-ons and limit their new exclusive cruise destinations at the celebration of the new exclusive cruise destination in the Bahamas.

Many people take the Royal Caribbean Cocoa Season as an example, as an example of a private destination for cruise routes. While Royal Caribbean also charges high prices for add-ons, passengers can enjoy unlimited food and use its cruise drink package on the island.

In the celebration keys, Carnival passengers are limited to one free meal and cannot use their drink packages.

“If Carnival tries to improve its game and compete with Royal, do you have any ‘beard’ to go to Cococay? Almost everything is included, including drinks, because if someone owns someone [beverage] pack.
