Highway infrastructure scripts debut nearly 70%; open for Rs 117 on BSE and Rs 115 on NSE

Highway infrastructure list: The Rs 13 billion initial public offering (IPO) of the expressway infrastructure is subscribed to more than 300 times the subscription, which is listed on NSE and BSE on Tuesday, August 12.

HIL shares made their debut on NSE at Rs 115, with a premium of 64.29%. On BSE, it opened just over Rs 117 with a premium of 67.14%.

Pre-opening prices

As of the pre-opening meeting, shares of Highway Infrastructure Co., Ltd. (Hilinfra) on BSE said the listing price was Rs 110, accounting for 57.14% of the IPO issue price.

On NSE, the value is Rs 111, up 58.57% from the issuance price.

The IPO will be open for subscriptions from August 5 to August 7 with a price range of Rs 65-70 per share. The public offering includes a new question worth Rs 97,520 crore and a quote of 46.4 million shares.

Highway Infrastructure Subscription Details

The product attracted strong investor interest, with an overall subscription of 316.64 times. In the category, the bid for high net worth individuals (HNIS) was 473.10 times, and 55,71,429 shares were allocated. The Qualified Institutional Buyer (QIBS) sector was also heavily oversubscribed at 473.10 times, while the Retail Investors segment received 164.48 subscriptions.

Financial performance

In the fiscal year 2024-25, the company reported that after-tax profits rose 4.57% to Rs 2239 crore, compared with Rs 2141 crore in the previous year. However, operating revenue fell 13.55% to Rs 49571 crore, down from Rs 57,345 crore a year ago.

Details of hosting investors

Prior to opening, the company successfully raised Rs 23.4 crore from Anchor Investors on August 4, 2025.

Fund utilization

The net gains from the new problem will be used to:

  • Meet working capital requirements
  • General company purpose
  • Investors can also explore recent IPOs listed on BSE and NSE for comparative analysis
