Jack Draper will return to the ATP Tour for the first time in seven months when he competes in this week’s Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

The Englishman, who had his 2025 season ended early due to injury, returned this month with a Davis Cup victory and is currently ranked fourth in the ATP 500 event. Draper, the former PIF ATP Ranking No. 4 and reigning Indian Wells champion, will make his debut in Dubai against qualifiers or lucky losers.

Top seed and last year’s finalist Felix Auger-Aliassime will face Zhang Zhizhen for the title, with their Lexus ATP Head2Head series tied at 1-1. The Canadian will face Jiri Lehecka, who will face resurgent Frenchman Arthur Fils, in the quarterfinals.

Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas and 2024 champion Ugo Humbert set up a compelling first-round showdown between two former Dubai champions. Third seed Daniil Medvedev (2023), fifth seed Andrei Rublev (2022) and wildcard Stan Wawrinka (2016) make up the list of past champions in the main draw.

Wawrinka is in the final season of his ATP Tour career and will embark on a trip to Dubai with wildcard Benjamin Hassan.
