How to watch today’s Apple WWDC 2025 keynote speech

Apple’s WWDC keynote is arguably the company’s biggest event in the year beyond its annual iPhone launch in September. Live streaming starts today/starts at 10 p.m., PT begins Apple’s global developer conference, with the company’s annual showcase being a new feature for all hardware devices next year. Apple executives will showcase big new features for iOS, macOS, iPados and all other platforms in the company over the next 15 months. Of course, the elephant in the room is Apple Smart. Apple’s perception of AI was initiated at WWDC last year, but after consumer consumer reactions and recently announced delays on some of its key features, we are eager to hear what the plan is next.

To learn about what Apple plans for itself, you can watch the WWDC 2025 keynote on its website, its YouTube channel, and once the live stream begins, you can watch it here (embedded on top). Apple will also host developer meetings online for a more in-depth technical overview to learn about the new software features it announced.

To get a deeper analysis of everything announced today, please follow Engadget’s WWDC 2025 LiveBlog from our live reporter and live with us all day (and weekly) as we share our thoughts on the big changes in Apple’s operating system before it will be launched later this year.

Any bad feeling about AI reportedly can allow Apple to completely redesign its operating system to make it more cohesive, easier to use and reminiscent of Visionos. The company is said to be planning its first debut of its “liquid glass” interface redesign, which will feature WWDC’s “transparent visuals.” iPads may also receive some attention, with reports suggesting that Apple will introduce another approach to multitasking and window management to make the tablet MAC-like. Add to that new battery management features and a “virtual health coach” and the company may have a series of updates related to Apple intelligence to excite.

In the recently released WWDC poster, Apple included a slogan with two words “Sleek Peek”. Although previous versions of these versions have been endlessly speculated to see if any clues can be found, the versions of the past few years have proven to be vaguely relevant. Last year, an invitation to the iPhone event said “it’s brilliant,” which in hindsight may refer to the glowing edge of the new Siri interface, but was originally released at WWDC 2024. Ultimately, “Its Glowtime” has nothing to do with the iPhone 16’s series, which is most famous for their new camera control buttons.

In news that may not be very important, Apple may also rename its operating systems, unifying them under the numbers specified for the next year – so we can see iOS 26 instead of iOS 19. Given that we currently have everything from Visionos 2 to iPadOS 18 and in between, it would be a great unity.
