HuffPost Help Day 2025: HuffPost employee volunteers commemorate 20th anniversary

Huffpost is 20 years old this year. To celebrate, we hosted our first annual “HuffPost Help Day”, volunteered in cities across the United States. Some teams saw some teams in the photos below and supported our newsroom by joining our membership program.

“Since 1973, the Los Angeles-area food banks have provided over a billion meals.”


Savage Sisters: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
“The savage sisters provide the Philadelphia community with resources for people who are affected by drug use disorders.”

Adoption of Charleston: Charleston, Washington
“Every year, we care for nearly 5,000 displaced animals, fostering them with the necessary feelings and attention to ensure their lifelong family.”

Community Assistance Center: Atlanta, Georgia
“Community Aid Center provides basic needs assistance to neighbors to prevent homelessness and hunger while promoting self-sufficiency and empowering them to thrive.”

Washington Park Botanical Garden: Seattle, Washington
“The Botanical Garden is a welcome oasis along the shores of Lake Washington. Co-managed by the University of Washington Botanical Garden and the City of Seattle, its 230 acres of plants contain a wide variety of plants, some of whom don’t have anywhere else in the Northwest.”
