Jannik Sinner is one of the sports stars taking part in the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday.
The PIF ATP No. 2 caught up with legends including Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry on the grid ahead of the final match of the season.
Sinner also spent time with the likes of George Russell, Kimi Antonelli, Toto Wolff, Oliver Behrman and Esteban Ocon. In an interview with F1’s social media channels, the Italian was asked which driver’s mentality is most similar to his.
“Obviously, the mentality is really, really important. If I were to pick one, I would say maybe George [Russell]”He was very relaxed,” Sinner said. Obviously, he’s very, very focused on the game. Very similar to me. “
This isn’t Sinner’s first time competing in Formula 1. Less than a month ago, he was also in Turin with Antonelli.
Antonelli appeared on court with the ATP No. 1 club member after he won the Nitto ATP Finals on November 16. Ahead of Sinner’s victory over Carlos Alcaraz, Antonelli told the ATP’s social channels that he was a “big fan of Janik” and that his compatriot “looks very strong”.
Sinner watched Max Verstappen win a grand prix and Lando Norris win his first F1 world championship.
