“Kissing Cam” video after Astronomer CEO Andy Byron resigns – Country

The CEO of a technology company astronomer resigned in a video that appeared to showcase two of its senior staff members at a Coldplay concert.
The company released a statement on its social media channels on Saturday saying Andy Byron has resigned, three days after the video spread online, allegedly at a band concert in Boston, where Byron and another senior manager were allegedly shown.
In the subsequent social media storm, the two allegedly had an affair.
Astronomers have previously said Byron has been on leave, but the company has not confirmed that this is his video.
But on Saturday afternoon, the company said Byron’s resignation had been accepted by the board and it will begin looking for the next CEO.
“Before this week, we were called a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to producing AI,” the company’s statement reads.

“While awareness of our company may change overnight, our products and customers’ jobs are not. We will continue to do what we do best: helping customers solve their hardest data and AI problems.”
In the virus clip, the couple shows up on the Kiss Cam video screen, with their arms around each other. Once they realize that their intimacy moments are projected onto the big screen, the man quickly loses sight, and the woman turns around and hides her face.
Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin heard the awkward moments of the narrative in the editing, saying: “They had an affair, or they were just shy.”
In a statement a day ago, the company commented on the virus moment, saying it launched a “formal investigation” into the matter.
It also dismissed a statement claiming to be from Byron, which was widely circulated on social media, saying he has not commented on the matter yet.
