Apple Event 2025 iPhone 17 Issuance Price: After a long wait, Apple finally launched the new iPhone 17 worldwide at the “Awesome Disconnect” event held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino on September 9. The iPhone 17 has a 6.3-inch Super Retinal XDR display with promotional technology and adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz. Its borders are thinner than the previous generation, with the largest outdoor brightness of 3000 columns (the highest iPhone ever) and 2x better outdoor contrast.
The front is protected by the new ceramic shield 2, offering three times the scratchiness of the previous generation and significantly lowers glare for increased visibility. Apple claims it is the toughest glass ever used in a smartphone.

The new iPhone has a powerful new camera system that comes with a 48MP fusion main camera with 2x telephoto with optical quality and the new 48MP Fusion Ultra Ultra Sumpers. On the front, it features 18MP brand new center stage front camera, which, according to the company, improves photo and video capture, allowing you to fit perfectly in the frame every time you take it.
What does the front camera of the central stage do?
According to the company, the central stage front camera has the first square front camera sensor on the iPhone, providing a wider field of view and higher resolution (up to 18MP photos) to capture more details. Users no longer need to rotate their iPhone to take landscape selfies – they can now take photos and videos in portraits or landscapes while holding the iPhone vertically, making for a more comfortable, safer grip and center gaze.

The iPhone 17 will be standard with 256GB storage – twice as much incoming storage compared to the previous generation – and the 512GB option is available in five beautiful colors: black, lavender, mist blue, sage and white.

The iPhone 17 is a dual SIM smartphone – supported globally in Bahrain, Guam, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, the United States, the United States Virgin Islands and NanoSIM+ESIM support.
ESIM is a digital SIM that offers greater flexibility, better security and seamless connectivity compared to traditional physical SIM cards. Additionally, if the iPhone is lost or stolen, this E-SIM cannot be physically deleted, thus increasing security.

According to the company, the iPhone 17 can charge up to 50% with an optional high-power USB-C power adapter in 20 minutes, such as Apple’s new 40W dynamic power adapter, which is up to 60W. Additionally, it can provide up to 30 hours of video playback – eight more hours than the previous generation.

The iPhone 17 is powered by the A19 chip, which is built on advanced third-generation 3nm technology. Compared with the A15 Bionic chip in the iPhone 13, its 6-core CPU has up to 1.5 times the performance, while the 5-core GPU has more than twice the performance of graphics.

In addition to the iPhone 17 clear case with MagSafe, the organic case with MagSafe is available in five colors: black, neon yellow, light moss, anchor blue and purple mist. The company said the silicone box with MAGSAFE can be paired with the new horizontal strap, giving users a hands-free iPhone.
