In the next few weeks Bryan KohbergerClassmates and professors of Washington State University graduate students were arrested in December 2022 for the murder of four Idaho students.
Kohberger, 30, is pursuing his PhD in criminology in Washington State and works as an assistant to his teacher, despite being fired a few days before his arrest.
Kohberger pleaded guilty to murder in July 2025 Ethan Chapin,,,,, Xana kernelnodle,,,,, Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves On the morning of November 13, 2022, at 1122 King Road, Moscow, Idaho. A judge sentenced him to four life imprisonment four times in a row after pleading guilty.
Since the murders, Idaho police have released more than 500 pages of documents related to the investigation, including interviews with people who regularly interact with Kohberger in Washington State.

Bryan Kohberger is clearly injured after murder
After the murder, students and faculty noticed obvious injuries on Koberg’s hand. A student told police that his hand had cut “similar to a cat scratch.” Another said he had “bloody knuckles,” although the student wasn’t sure if they had observed before or after the homicide.
A professor also recalled Kohberger’s handband during the homicide period, who told her it was due to “a silly accident indoors.”

The same student also said that the usually clean shaved kohberger began to grow facial hair and looked “dissatisfied”. Although the weather doesn’t require a jacket, she said he would wear a thick coat during the three-hour session.

Classmates accuse Kohberger of “manplaining”

In one incident, a student claimed that he became “excited and controversial” when discussing the misidentification of witnesses. The communication made her uncomfortable and she filed a written complaint to the university.
In another case, one student said Koberg tried to correct her by over-interpreting the subject as if she didn’t understand. Koberg is once again a debater, with students leaving the class early due to interaction.

The classmate almost reported to Koberg
Kohberger’s strange behavior caught the attention of a student, telling police that he had reported him almost to the university but decided not to do so because the report would not be anonymous. The student observed that Koberg was significantly sleep-deficient, usually late for lectures, and often got up and left in the middle of class, just drinking coffee.

One student said Koberg was the only person in the class who supported the death penalty. To argue his position, he asked the student if he would support “rape and murder” someone’s 12-year-old daughter.
