Baseball fans were stunned when they were transferred to the MLB home run derby Monday night and saw something they had never seen before – an outfield player robbed the home run.
The amazing moment happened in the final round of the Derby, with Tampa Bay Ray Ray teenager Caminero trying to beat Seattle seaman Cal Raleigh.

Caminero hit a deep shot, but one of the outfielders usually intends to take the ball from the park, appearing to have taken the home run from the ray player.
The same thing happened when Chicago Bear legend Ryne Sandberg won the home run derby about 40 years ago, ESPN broadcaster mentioned. The biggest difference is that a high school baseball team is in outfield baseball.
Despite this, the fans were shocked.
Caminero still got a legitimate shot in the Derby, but the distance was short. Raleigh won the game 18-15.

Since it started forty years ago, “Big Boobs” was the first catcher to win the event to win the championship. Raleigh was also the second Mariner player to win, as Ken Griffey Jr.
“Anyone who has ever played baseball dreams of something like this,” Carl’s father said. “I dreamed. He dreamed of it. When you were a parent, you looked at it differently because you wanted your kids to be happy.”
Raleigh entered the final round thanks to a decisive game for track and field Brent Rooker. Raleigh’s home run was longer than the Rooker’s 470.61 feet to 470.53.
