Israel’s UN ambassador slams Britain acknowledges threat from Palestinian state

Danon stressed: “The State of Israel will not reduce its immunity after Hamas’ atrocities committed on October 7.”

Prime Minister Keir Starmer told the British cabinet on Tuesday that Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon criticized Britain for acknowledging the Palestinian threat in September unless Israel takes “substantial steps to end the shocking situation in Gaza”.

Danon wrote on X/Twitter: “Israel has agreed to a ceasefire several times.”

Daniel pointed out: “No token recognition, no UN resolution will change the basic fact that some people fight terrorists and extremist forces, and then some people turn a blind eye or resort to the app.”

“The State of Israel will not reduce its immunity after the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7,” Danon stressed. “We will do our best to bring the hostages home and defeat Hamas.”

Danon hits hypocrisy

Last week, Daniel condemned the United Nations’ hypocrisy towards Israel. “Hamas caused a crisis and we were blamed,” he said in an interview with the Jerusalem Post.

Danon added: “We are not ignoring the suffering of Gaza, but the responsibility lies with Hamas, not Israel.”

He argued that Israel has faced more pressure in recent weeks than “a well-planned propaganda campaign by Hamas and its allies” than a real humanitarian concern.

“People saw the images, they heard strong protests, but they didn’t check the facts,” Danon said. “That’s why we fight not only on the battlefield, but on the stage of perception.”
