Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert include kids in home renovation

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert Their new house is being dragged with three special assistants.

Roper, 38, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, June 1: “We are doing our first small renovation ‘project’ of the new house and think it’s an interesting thing to include the kids, referring to 7-year-old Emmy, Brooks, 5-year-old, and Reed, 4.

In the video, Roper and Tolbert, 38, teamed up with Emmy and Brooks (both wearing sunglasses) to have a fun dance. (Reed filmed his family’s prank outside the camera.)

The Bachelor alumni bought a new property in Kansas City, Missouri in April.

“Still unreal,” Roper wrote on Instagram at the time. “So many things to achieve this, I really feel here. It’s like it always belongs to us. Who’s ready for a renovation? We don’t know what we’re doing.”

Tolbert jokingly replied: “What are we doing? I don’t even have the tools ⚒️ 🧰. ”

The couple obviously figured out how to repair the house by Sunday.

“We’re in the new house and we thought it would be just right and fun to do our first little Reno project with the kids,” Roper said in the Instagram story video. “So, what did we do, Amy?”

Emmy noticed that they tore the “wallpaper” open in the restaurant.

“It’s fun,” Roper added.

The dining area initially has burgundy walls, with white crown moldings and two round windows surrounding the ceiling.

Roper added via her Instagram story: “The dining room is one of my favorite rooms in the entire house.” “Can’t wait to be ‘us’.”

Roper and Tolbert moved back to his native Missouri from California at the end of 2024. At the time, they planned to build a new property from scratch.

“We bought 10 acres of land. It’s a dream come true for me,” Roper, from Nebraska, wrote via Instagram in November 2024. “I grew up in the country, having so many wonderful memories of my childhood playing in nature and playing with my brothers and exploring with my brothers. I can’t provide our kids with this kind of journey to build our dreams.

She revealed earlier this year that they decided to sell the land and buy the homes that have been built.
