Japan says China will resume Fukushima water discharge, where Japanese seafood imports have stopped

Japan said China will resume Japanese seafood imports that it banned in 2023 because of concerns about the release of treated but slightly radioactive wastewater from the damaged Fukushima Fitch nuclear power plant. China said on Friday that the talks this week had made “significant progress” but did not confirm the agreement on the important political and diplomatic points of the issue, a major tension against the vigilant Asian powers.
