Foreign media reported that the 41-year-old U.S. Vice President JD Vance said Thursday that he would take over as president if a “tragedy” strikes.
Vance further stated that his current position put him in preparation for taking over Trump’s office.
However, he promised Trump was in a “good position” to complete his four-year term in the White House.

“God forbids a terrible tragedy, and I can’t think of a better on-the-job training than the last 200 days,” Vance said.
Trump said earlier this month that Vance is the most likely heir to his magazine movement, but Vance continues to speculate on his 2028 plan.
Vance said his wife Usha and he focused on what he is doing now. “If that door opens later, we’ll figure it out.”
Vance then recalls his first step into the Oval Office in January.
“It’s a great thing,” Vance said. “But if I’m honest, it’s winter in the middle and the curtains are closed. It’s very dark. It has a dark and gloomy feeling. This is the workplace for leaders of the free world. It should be brighter. I love everything the president has done about it,” a foreign media report said.

JD Vance’s remarks match Donald Trump’s health, as he already saw a fairly large blue mark on his hands. When he was sworn in in January this year, Donald Trump was about 79 years old and became the oldest president in American history.
