Jennifer Brady returns to Australian Open – Tennis Now

Jennifer Brady Her comeback will begin in Australia.

Brady will make his first appearance at Melbourne Park five years after reaching the 2021 AO final.

Brady, the former world No. 13, is one of several notable American players on the 2026 Australian Open qualifying roster. Brady reached the 2021 AO finals, losing to Naomi Osaka 6-4, 6-3.

A string of injuries has kept the 30-year-old Pennsylvania native out of action.

Brady has struggled with foot injuries and underwent surgery on his right knee in January 2024. She is currently listed as “inactive” on the site Her WTA player page. However, Brady has a special ranking of No. 222 on the AO qualifying list and is ready to make his first major appearance since the 2023 U.S. Open.
