Jessica Pegula Today she celebrates her 32nd birthday and gives herself a break.
Pegula, ranked fifth in the world, defeated Elena Svitolina Clinched the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in straight sets on Saturday and withdrew from Austin today to recover from Dubai.
Pegula turns 32 today and announced her retirement.
The Australian Open semi-finalist was due to play today but will rest and recover ahead of the upcoming Sunshine Doubles, which begins with the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells next week.
