Cincinnati Bangladesh quarterback Joe Burrow Last year, it revealed how the burglary at his Ohio home affected his mentality.
Burrow, 28, found information about the burglary after entering the locker room at AT&T Stadium on December 9, and the Bangladeans won a much-needed 27-20 road beat the Dallas Cowboys.
“This happened to me now,” Burrow recalled in Netflix’s documentary Season 2. Quarterbackthis premiered on Tuesday, July 8th. “When you’re on Cloud Nine, there are things that take you back. It feels like that year.”
The defeat of the Cowboys raised Bangladesh’s record to 5-8 at the time, a slow start to a season that started with Super Bowl ambitions.
Burrow admits that all the attention he was after breaking into made him “uncomfortable.”
“My life is very public, and it’s about work,” he said. “But some parts of your life are yours.
Burrow added: “It’s a very vulnerable position. I put myself in that position because I like it. I don’t like the other part of it.”
Rumored girlfriend of quarterback, model Olivia Pontonat Burrow’s home during the burglary, was responsible for reporting the incident to the police.
Although Burrow and Ponton never confirmed their relationship, they continued to spend time together throughout the NFL offseason, including being spotted in Miami in May.
Shortly after the break-in, Burrow agreed with the impact of the incident at that time with the then-Bangladesh defensive coordinator, Lou Anarumo. (Anarumo was fired by the Bangladesh after the 2024 season and then hired as defensive coordinator by the Indianapolis Colts.)
“That’s the only part I’m frustrated,” Burrow said on the driving range. “All my business is there. I have the news van camping in the house. It’s awful.”
“The whole world knows where I live now. That’s not very interesting,” Burrow added.
Four men were arrested in January for being arrested at Burrow’s home.
According to the criminal lawsuit, the suspect was removed from office when officials discovered “an old LSU shirt and Bengal hat believed to have been stolen from the burglary in Hamilton County on December 9, 2024.”
All four pleaded not guilty to the allegations of participating in the criminal gang, and engaged in corruption activities, which hindered formal business and possession of criminal tools.
In February, the same four men were also charged with participating in a series of burglaries against athletes from the Kansas City Chiefs. Travis Kelce and Patrick MahomesTheir houses were also stolen when they were not in the city.
