The team has three quarterbacks in the roster – Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson and sixth-round draft pick Will Howard.
After Russell Wilson left Pittsburgh and signed with the New York Giants, the Steelers are considered a potential location for four-time MVP, as most teams appear to have their starting quarterbacks in the 2025 season.
Rodgers has not closed the door after retirement.
“I'm open to anything. Retirement is still possible, but now my focus is, and will continue to be in my personal life. … There is still a conversation.”

“A different stage in my life. I am 41 years old and my relationship is serious. I have something to pay attention to. I have personal commitments. I don't know that the future will be important to me a year later. There are indeed some difficult things in my inner, inner circle.
Whether Rodgers decides to play football and sign with the Steelers or whether he decides to call it a pro after 20 seasons remains to be seen.

Last season, Rodgers threw 3,987 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 games in the New York Jets game.
Whoever ends up starting for the Steelers in Week 1, they won't let George Pickens be the receiver. The team traded Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.
