In an interview with the UK era The 38-year-old, published on Monday, May 12, talked frankly about Kate's health announcement of cancer diagnosis for more than one year.
“I think as a family, you learn to see and process and understand things,” he explained. “It’s been a challenging time for her and her family, and I know it’s a challenging time for us and our big family, but I think it’s about communication, it’s about providing support and help.”
James reveals how he expresses his support for Kate 43. “It’s so important to be there for someone, it doesn’t have to be on your terms, it should not be on your terms. It should be on their terms; unconditional: “I’m not for the reward.” I love you because I love you,” he continued. “It’s the easiest way to really show love. You can do this in all kinds of fancy ways, but in reality, you know, it's usually just there. ”
Kate revealed in March 2024 that she was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. James was responding to the news by sharing an inspiring message via Instagram at the time.

Kate announced the completion of chemotherapy in September 2024 after moving away from public-oriented responsibilities. Earlier this year, the Duchess confirmed that she was eased.
