Since Wimbledon, the world’s fourth-ranked Pegula has lost four of six and will head to New York where she defends the runner-up.

Keys were excellent at Rybakina, but as the game took place, Rybakina struggled in the Heat, unmatched with the former Wimbledon champion in the third set. Her blood pressure was in the third early test and to no avail.
