The Laifen Swift isn't the exact copy of Supersonic, but its similar design makes it an excellent compact option, which still dries hair quickly. Plus, this will cost you less than $150.
I will be the first to admit that the Dyson Supersonic is an elegant hair dryer, but the elegant price is $429. If you want to buy a brand new dryer, but not paying a few hundred dollars, Laifen Swift offers most of the work Dyson does, but it's about a third of the price.
In the case of very different prices, you might assume you have gained very different experiences, but both have been tested and I found that Laifen picked the most important box. For example, supersonic speeds are popular due to their rapid drying periods. Despite the 1,400 watts of power, the Laifen Swift still blows out impressive air and always drys my hair for a time range similar to the supersonic speed, give or take a few minutes.
Supersonics also have a unique design that is shorter than traditional clothes dryers. Although Laifen's is solid where Dyson's is hollow, the weight of the Laifen is about a pound when it comes to weight, which is a great choice for travel and is usually easy to handle.
Dyson also uses supersonic magnetic dryer accessories. Laifen's attachments are as solid and reliable as any Dyson's attachments. That said, this LAIFEN model comes with only concentrator attachments, but you can get a model of three attachments, including diffusers, for just $20. While the supersonic does come with five attachments, I haven't met anyone who needs all five hairs yet.
Finally, Dyson Supersonic's price and branding show that it is listed. After testing both products for a limited time, I can’t talk about it in the most specific terms, but I would say that when I’m not actively testing other dryers, I use Laifen Swift regularly and it’s been going on for two years.
On a basic level, as a clothes dryer, Laifen has more work than done. It has a lower temperature setting than supersonic and can overheat at its highest setting, but overall, if you're looking for something that can dry your hair quickly and reliably without causing much damage to your hair or your wallet, the Laifen Swift is a reliable option.
